Paper-I General Ability & Intelligence: Logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, numerical ability, data interpretation, general mental ability, basic science, information technology and current affairs.
Indian Polity & Economy: Constitution, political system, public administration, governance, rights, social systems, economic development, planning, poverty, inclusion and government programmes.
History: Indian history, national movement, culture, freedom struggle and broad developments in post-independence India.
Geography: Physical, social and economic geography of India and the world, natural resources, agriculture, industry and environmental issues.
Paper-II Essay: Essays on modern Indian history, geography, polity, economy, security and human rights, social issues and current affairs.
Comprehension: Reading comprehension, précis writing, counter-argument, report writing, grammar and language skills.
Security & Current Affairs: Human rights, internal security, national security, organised crime, terrorism, cyber security, border management and current national/international issues.

Selection Process

Written Examination → Physical Standards/PET → Medical Examination → Interview/Personality Test → final merit.
