ℹ️ Short Information

Rajasthan Government, Local Self Government Department has released Safai Karamchari Direct Recruitment Advertisement No. 01/2026 for 24,752 contractual posts in urban local bodies across Rajasthan. Eligible Rajasthan residents having the prescribed one-year sanitation work experience can apply online from 15 August 2026 to 28 September 2026. No formal educational qualification has been prescribed for the Safai Karamchari post. Selection will be made through a lottery process among eligible applicants as per the recruitment rules.

Eligibility details

Applicant must be a domicile / permanent resident of Rajasthan.
No educational qualification has been prescribed for the Safai Karamchari post.
Candidate must have at least 1 year of sanitation / cleaning work experience in any urban local body of Rajasthan.
The required one-year experience may consist of continuous service or separate periods which together complete one year.
The experience certificate must be issued by the competent authority of the concerned urban local body in the prescribed format.
Candidate can apply for only one Urban Local Body (ULB). Multiple applications for different ULBs may be rejected.
Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions by the prescribed last date of application.
