Complete Syllabus
- Mathematics: Algebra; matrices and determinants; trigonometry; analytical geometry of two and three dimensions; differential calculus; integral calculus and differential equations at the prescribed level; vector algebra; statistics and probability.
- English: Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and cohesion in extended text to test understanding and correct use of English.
- General Knowledge – Physics: Physical properties, motion, effects of heat, sound, light, electricity, magnetism, common machines and basic scientific principles.
- General Knowledge – Chemistry: Physical and chemical changes, elements, mixtures and compounds, air and water, oxidation/reduction, acids, bases and salts, carbon, fertilizers and common industrial materials.
- General Knowledge – General Science: Living organisms, human systems, nutrition, diseases, microorganisms and basic scientific developments.
- History: Indian history, freedom movement, Constitution and administration, national movement and broad developments in the modern world.
- Geography: Earth, atmosphere, climate, rocks, oceans, winds, Indian geography, natural regions, resources and major economic activities.
- Current Events: Important recent national and international events, personalities, sports and defence-related developments.
Selection Process
Written Examination → SSB Interview/Intelligence and Personality Tests → Medical Examination → final merit and academy allocation.
