How to Apply Online

Complete Profile Registration if not already registered.
Log in using the registered mobile number and password.
Select the CG SET 2026 online application form.
Fill in personal, domicile, category, educational and subject details carefully.
Upload the recent photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
Pay the applicable examination fee online.
Review all details and press the final Submit button.
Download and print the submitted application form.
Eligible corrections can be made from 18 August to 20 August 2026 up to 05 : 00 PM.

⚠️ Important Instructions

Submitting the application or appearing in the examination does not itself establish eligibility.
Candidates should complete Profile Registration before submitting the online application.
The final Submit button must be pressed to complete the application.
Admit cards will be uploaded approximately seven days before the examination and will not be sent by post.
Carry an original photo identity document and a black or blue ballpoint pen to the examination centre.
Reach the examination centre at least two hours before the examination.
Entry closes at 09 : 30 AM for Paper I and 01:30 PM for Paper II.
Mobile phones, calculators, watches and other prohibited electronic items are not permitted.
An online fee of ₹50 per question is payable for objections against the provisional answer key.

Paper I : 50 compulsory objective questions carrying 100 marks
Paper II : 100 compulsory subject questions carrying 200 marks
Each question carries 2 marks
No negative marking
General category minimum aggregate : 40%
SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwD / Transgender minimum aggregate : 35%
Top 6% of appearing candidates who meet the prescribed aggregate criteria will be declared qualified, subject to reservation rules
