  • The Indian Navy has invited online applications from eligible unmarried men and unmarried women for Short Service Commission Officer entries for the Jun 2027 course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. A total of 275 tentative vacancies are available across Executive, Education and Technical branches. Online applications are open from 25 June 2026 to 27 July 2026.

Pilot25BE/BTech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in Classes 10 and 12 and minimum 60% marks in English in Class 10 or 12. Men and women are eligible; maximum 3 vacancies for women. Date of birth: 2 July 2003 to 1 July 2008.
Naval Air Operations Officer – Observer18BE/BTech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in Classes 10 and 12 and minimum 60% marks in English in Class 10 or 12. Men and women are eligible; maximum 3 vacancies for women. Date of birth: 2 July 2003 to 1 July 2008.
Air Traffic Controller – ATC15BE/BTech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in Classes 10 and 12 and minimum 60% marks in English in Class 10 or 12. Men and women are eligible. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 July 2006.
Logistics10BE/BTech in any discipline with First Class; or MBA with First Class; or BSc/BCom/BSc IT with First Class plus PG Diploma in Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Material Management; or MCA/MSc IT with First Class. Men and women are eligible; maximum 2 vacancies for women. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 January 2008.
Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre – NAIC14BE/BTech with minimum 60% marks in specified Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, IT, Aeronautical, Chemical, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Production or related branches; or postgraduate degree in Electronics or Physics. Candidates must also have 60% in Classes 10 and 12 and 60% in English in Class 10 or 12. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 January 2008.
Education – MSc/MA Entries5MSc/MA with minimum 60% marks in Mathematics, Operational Research, Physics, Applied Physics, Meteorology, Oceanography or Atmospheric Sciences with the prescribed graduation subjects; or MA History with minimum 55% marks. Candidates must have 60% in Classes 10 and 12 and 60% in English in Class 10 or 12. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 July 2006.
Education – Engineering/ME/MTech Entries8BE/BTech with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Instrumentation; or ME/MTech with minimum 60% in prescribed Electronics, Communication, Radar, VLSI, Power Systems, Mechanical, Production, Machine Design, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Meteorology or related streams. Date-of-birth range varies by qualification.
Engineering Branch – General Service24BE/BTech with minimum 60% marks in Marine, Mechanical, Aerospace, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Automobile, Mechatronics, Production, Control, Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or related notified streams. Men and women are eligible; maximum 4 vacancies for women. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 January 2008.
Submarine Technical – Engineering8Same educational qualification as Engineering Branch General Service. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 January 2008.
Electrical Branch – General Service32BE/BTech with minimum 60% marks in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Power Electronics, Power Engineering or related notified streams. Men and women are eligible; maximum 5 vacancies for women. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 January 2008.
Submarine Technical – Electrical8Same educational qualification as Electrical Branch General Service. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 January 2008.
Naval Constructor18BE/BTech with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical, Mechanical with Automation, Civil, Marine, Ship Building, Aeronautical, Ship Technology, Ship Design, Aerospace, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering or Metallurgy. Men and women are eligible. Date of birth: 2 July 2002 to 1 January 2008.
